Onwards and Upwards – The International continues to thrive as it approaches its second anniversary.

Founded on 15th October 2020, The International is proud to represent an avowedly Marxist-Leninist, anti-imperialist, anti-capitalist and anti-fascist politics. We have published contributions from a range of Communist and socialist leaders, intellectuals, researchers and journalists. We publish poetry, film reviews, poetry and blog entries as well as political commentary and analysis. Our social media reach now extends to some 10 million people, and we have published more than a thousand exclusive articles. Our blog readership averages 50,000 per month.

In the run-up to The International's 2nd anniversary, the magazine would like to offer special thanks to all its Editors. Furthermore, we would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the extensive work carried out by our extended team, notable supporters and valued contributors.

These include Hussain Alharbi from Kuwait, who provided a vital contribution towards starting The International; Adi Emile Awwad from Jordan, who furnished us with contacts from the Middle East, allowing us to find members for the Editorial Board; and Danny Scott and team, who gave us technical advice and initial help growing the magazine. Esha Krishnaswamy of the USA conducted our first significant promotional campaign. Social media promotions were undertaken by influencer Luna Oi of Vietnam, who also arranged crucial interviews in the early stages of our journey, as well as by Andray Domise of Canada and Capitalism Kills (a Facebook community), who arranged Facebook promotions; This American Left, on Instagram; and Midwestern Marx, who have been instrumental in giving us a TikTok presence, Dr Asatar Bair from USA who contributed his writings on a regular basis.

In addition, we are grateful to Martha Grevatt of the US, who provided us with promotions in the Workers World newspaper and also contributed articles regularly. Stewart McGill of the UK made both political and promotional contributions. Further important support has been provided by Arun Chaudhary of the USA, who previously was the official White House videographer and the Creative Director of the Bernie 2016 Campaign: a consistent supporter, Chaudhary has contributed film reviews. Other key contributors include Owen Williamson from the US, a regular writer and editor; Luis Lázaro Tijerina, also of the US, a frequent contributor providing military history analysis and literary contributions; Eric Calderone, another regular writer and editor from the United States; and Dr. Yugal Rayalu of India, a regular contributor. Sumedha Chatterjee of India and Ireland contributed both creative thoughts and articles and Dr. Mohammed Khaza of the Russian Federation has also been a frequent contributor and serves as regional editor for Russia.

And ofcourse, we express our sincere thanks to all our readers, followers and critics; without whom we could not sustain.
